If you happen to be staying with us on a Wednesday or Thursday, you are in for a culinary treat. This bustling hub is a beloved among neighbourhood locals, academics, and foodies alike. The market places a passionate emphasis on fresh, sustainably sourced ingredients direct from regional farms. It is the perfect spot to grab an incredibly vibrant lunch outdoors. Covent Garden Market

Technically just on the southern edge of our neighbourhood, the world-famous Covent Garden Market is a straightforward, beautiful walk from our front door. Housed under a spectacular 19th-century neoclassical glass arcade, this historic site has evolved from a grand fruit and vegetable market into a lively epi-centre of culture, shopping, and entertainment.

• The Apple Market: Located inside the main building, this area is packed with stalls showcasing British craftsmanship, handmade jewellery, leather goods, and unique art.

• The Piazza: The open-air cobblestone square surrounding the market is legendary for its street performers and world-class buskers. You can easily spend an hour watching incredible acrobatics or listening to opera singers echo through the courtyard. Whether you are hunting for a luxury British souvenir, sitting down for an alfresco tea, or simply soaking up the vibrant Central London energy, it is an absolute must-visit.

The Brunswick Centre Market
• When: Weekly rotation
• Where: The Brunswick Centre (a 5-minute walk)

For something a little closer to home, wander up to the architectural marvel that is the Brunswick Centre. This striking mid-century destination plays host to a fantastic regular open-air market.
